西山中学校へようこそ
このページでは、西山中学校から各学校や保護者の皆様へのお知らせやお願いなどを発信してまいります。
本校は、福島県会津地方西部の柳津町にあります。同じ敷地内に、西山小学校があり、小中学校で連携した教育を推進しており、近くには、西山温泉や発電量日本一と言われる地熱発電所もあります。

本校では、過疎の進行に一石を投じようと、アントレプレナーシップ育成教育（起業家教育）に取り組んでいます。「西山を魅力的にし、西山を活性化するために」をテーマに、観光パンフレットづくり、農産品の栽培・販売、西山温泉の新たな土産物を開発しようと頑張っています。その過程で生まれた「ひしストラップ」は大変好評で、地域の民芸品として認知されつつあります。地域の方とのコラボレーションで、地域の活性化に大いに役立っています。

What food with rice do you like the best of the four?

I asked "What food with rice do you like the best of the four?" This graph show the result. As you can see, tarako is the most popular food with rice in Nishiyama. Ten of us like tarako the best. Umeboshi is as popular as others and comes second. Six of us like umeboshi and others the best. Last is natto. Four of us like natto the best. Two of us like hamburger and curry the best. But I think that we like Japanese foods.
