Fukumann-Kokuzo is a temple in Yanaizu. It is a sightseeing area. There is a bull statue. We visit Fukumann-Kokuzouson on January 1 for Hatsumoude.
Lights come on at night. Fkuman-Kokuzouson is very beautiful.

This is the Akabeko from Yanaizu.
It is an ornament, and its neck moves.
It is said that the cow helped build Kokuzouson.
The Akabeko has many different designs.

This is Mt. Hakase.
Nishiyama Junior high school students gather Huki there.
Mt. Hkase is about 1500 meters tall.
There is beautiful nature on the mountain.
Please come to Mt. Hakase.
                                                            

This is Takiya river in Yanaizu.
The river is clear, and many fish live in the river.
You can enjoy fishing there.
Hot springs appear in some parts of the river.

This is Akabeko.
It is from Yanaizu.
There are many Akabeko goods in Michinoeki.
There is an Akabeko statue, too.
It is very cute.
Please come see the Akabeko.

These are Nishiyama's hot springs.

There are five hot springs:Takinoyu,Oizawa-onsen, Shinyu , Nakanoyu and Seizanso.     

The effects of each hot spring are different.
                                                                           
You can eat Nishiyama's local food.

Hot springs and local food are very,very good.

Nature

This is a pictue of Nishiyama's nature.
The nature of Nishiyama is very beautiful.
In spring, we can see cherry trees.
In summer, we can see fine trees.
In autumn, we can see red leaves.
In winter, we can see snowy scenery.
And, we can catch fish and hot springs appear.
But when you walk, please take care of bears.
Nishiyama is very good,
        so please come to Nishiyama.

This is Awamanju
Awamannju is yellowish green.
There is anko inside of Awamanju, but there are many other kinds of Awamannju contens. The outside of Awamanju is made from millet grain. Awamanju tastse very good.

    In English class, each of the 2nd year students made a questioneer and wrote an essay about it. There are four in total. Please read and enjoy them.

　  I asked, "what food do you like the best?" This graph shows the result.
    As you can see, karaage is the most popular food in Nishiyama. Fifteen of us like karaage the best. Okonomiyaki comes second and is more popular than yudetamago. Ten of us like okonomiyaki the best. Last is yudetamago. Two of us like it. 
 

   
 
   I asked "What food with rice do you like the best of the four?" This graph show the result. As you can see, tarako is the most popular food with rice in Nishiyama. Ten of us like tarako the best. Umeboshi is as popular as others and comes second. Six of us like umeboshi and others the best. Last is natto. Four of us like natto the best. Two of us like hamburger and curry the best. But I think that we like Japanese foods.
